Sand Beach Resort Hurghada, Hurghada

The hotel is situated in a local neighborhood away from the marina, completely changing our experience of Hurghada. The rooms are very basic and in need of a little TLC, as were the sunbeds. The service, though very friendly, faced some language barriers at times. The location is very good, just on the edge of town with shops and bars within easy walking distance. The dining experience is very basic, with limited offerings during breakfast. Overall, the hotel offers a decent stay with some room for improvement.

I stayed at the hotel and found it to be in a convenient location near the city center and close to shopping opportunities. The rooms were basic and a bit run down, but what bothered me most was the presence of local individuals smoking in the hallways and stairwell. The service, despite the staff's friendliness, was challenging at times due to language barriers. The poolside restaurant offered limited options, and the beach was small and built on stones, which was not ideal.

The hotel room initially had a cigarette smell and was smaller than expected, but was quickly upgraded to a nicer room. The redecorated room was nice but dirty with filthy sheets and overall cleanliness issues. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering us a meal when an issue with the bed was acknowledged but not resolved.

Upon arriving at the hotel, I immediately noticed a very bad smell, and the food quality was quite poor. However, the staff did look after us throughout our stay. The room we initially got stunk of sewage, and it took three requests before they finally moved us to a cleaner one. The hotel itself was not clean and had a strong unpleasant odor lingering around.

I couldn't resist the hotel's seaside location, perfect for trips to Giftun and the sea scope marine. The rooms were a bit noisy, but after switching to a standard double, my stay was more relaxing. The dining experience was hearty, even if a bit repetitive, but very affordable.
